Back-up Roller Bearings industrial bearing range and reference models

Product Overview

Back-up Roller Bearings

Back-up rollers with or without pivot for levelers, straighteners and steel coil processing lines.

Selection Outer profile and shaft geometry confirmed from drawing
Lead time Custom design and quantity dependent
Input required Model, dimensions or controlled drawing

Back-up Rollers for Leveler and Straightener Machines

Back-up roller bearings support work rolls and help maintain strip flatness in metal processing equipment. Designs are available with pivot, without pivot, as double back-up rolls and with customer-specific shaft ends.

Design Options

  • Cylindrical or crowned outer-ring profile
  • Sealed or relubricable internal design
  • Custom shaft-end mounting and fixing methods
  • Special heat treatment for heavy rolling-line duty

Reference Groups

Back-up Roller Bearings series and model references

Use these groups to identify the requested design. A reference is not an interchange approval; dimensions, suffixes and operating conditions must still be checked.

Design group Common references or options
Without pivot Bore-mounted back-up rolls and NNTR-style support rollers
With pivot Integrated shaft and customer-specific shaft-end executions
Double back-up rolls Paired support roller arrangements for leveler applications
Drawing-based designs Cylindrical or crowned outer profile, custom sealing and lubrication

Information required for selection

Drawing
Provide d, D, B, C, overall length, shaft ends and fixing details.
Outer profile
Confirm cylindrical, crowned or application-specific roll geometry.
Process load
Strip material, work-roll force, line speed and expected shock loading.
Accuracy
Runout, profile tolerance and surface-finish requirements.
Lubrication

Verification

Drawings, inspection records and application evidence

Evidence is matched to the quoted product and order scope. We do not present another supplier's factory media, certificates or customer projects as our own.

Technical drawings

Reference sheets support identification. Controlled manufacturing drawings require model and supplier confirmation.

Inspection records

Request dimensional, marking, packing or supplier-document checks with the RFQ. Availability is confirmed before order placement.

Factory and equipment media

Only dated media supplied by the selected manufacturing partner or captured during the relevant inspection is used as evidence.

Customer applications

Cases are published only with permission or in anonymized form using verified order and application facts.

Back-up Roller Bearings and Industrial Bearing Supply FAQ

Common Buyer Questions

Which industrial bearing types can you supply?

We support combined bearings, track roller bearings, full-complement cylindrical roller bearings, back-up rollers, cross roller bearings, special guide rollers and Standard NbV profiles.

Can you cross-reference Winkel, INA, SKF or other bearing numbers?

Send the complete designation, dimensions and application. We can review equivalent series and replacement references, but the proposed item must be confirmed against mounting and operating data.

What information is required for a bearing quotation?

Provide the model, d × D × B dimensions, quantity, application, radial and axial loads, speed, temperature, lubrication, sealing requirement and delivery country. A drawing or marking photo is helpful.

Do you manufacture non-standard bearings and rollers?

Drawing-based dimensions, profiles, shaft ends, seals, grease, clearances and mounting features can be reviewed. Minimum quantity, tooling and lead time depend on the design.

Which track roller series are commonly requested?

Common searches include NUTR, NNTR, PWTR, NUKR, KR, KRV, NATR, NATV, CF and LFR series, including yoke type rollers and stud type cam followers.

Which full-complement cylindrical roller bearing series are available?

Frequently requested series include SL01, SL02, SL04, SL05, SL06, SL18, SL19, RSL, NCF, NJG, NNCL and NNCF.
