Temperature and corrosion capability belongs to the complete quoted execution, not to a base model number alone.

Technical guide Updated 2026-09-27 For identification and RFQ preparation

Define the real environment

State normal and peak temperature, duration at temperature, thermal cycling, humidity, chemicals, washdown method and whether the bearing cools between cycles. A brief radiant heat peak is different from continuous high-temperature service, and external surface corrosion is different from chemical exposure that can attack seals or grease.

High-temperature execution

HT references should be quoted with their grease, seal and temperature assumptions. Heat changes lubricant life, seal behaviour, internal clearance and surrounding structural dimensions. Confirm whether the profile, plate, fasteners and protective coating share the same temperature capability.

Corrosion strategy

  • Shield the guide from direct spray and contamination where practical.
  • Specify coating scope: external surfaces only or all accessible surfaces.
  • Keep rolling contact surfaces compatible with the selected treatment.
  • Define the stainless or coated profile requirement separately from the bearing.
  • State packaging and temporary corrosion protection for sea freight or storage.

Information required for quotation

  • Base bearing model and complete suffix
  • Continuous and maximum temperature
  • Chemical, humidity, salt or washdown exposure
  • Required coating or material specification
  • Food-grade, low-outgassing or other lubricant restrictions
  • Quantity, inspection documents and delivery destination

Use the HT series identification sheet as a starting point. Final temperature and corrosion performance must be stated on the quotation and controlled specification.

Technical note: This guide supports preliminary sourcing. Confirm the controlled drawing, tolerances, load capacity and application requirements before ordering or installation.
